Rifki Alfrianto
President
Rifki Alfrianto is an M.S. candidate in the Civil and Infrastructure Engineering program at George Mason University with a sponsor from the company he works for (Hutama Karya Scholarship). He was born and raised in Pandeglang, Banten. He graduated from Gadjah Mada University with a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil and Environmental Engineering Studies. He also received a civil engineering profession degree (Ir.) from Hasanuddin University in Makassar in 2020.
Prior to studying in the US, Rifki worked as a Site Engineer Manager in various locations in Indonesia, where has accomplished several strategic infrastructure projects since 2014. In 2020, Rifki was assigned to help recover Masamba City in South Sulawesi from a flash flood disaster and contributed to connecting the isolated areas with a rapid bridge construction method. Currently, Rifki aspires to develop tunneling construction technology and hopes to contribute more to Indonesia's tunneling development in the future.
Outside of profession-related activities, he loves to play soccer, badminton, travel, and watch movies. His favorite movies are Forrest Gump and 3 Idiots.
